FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Supportive answers to help you feel informed, prepared, and welcomed.

What types of therapy do you offer?

Our therapists provide individual therapy, partner and couples therapy, family therapy, clinical supervision, coaching, and psychological assessments. Each therapist brings their own specialized training and style—ranging from trauma-informed therapy to Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes. All of our clinicians offer virtual sessions across Ontario through secure, confidential video platforms. Several of our team members also provide in-person sessions in Guelph, Cambridge, or Woodstock by request.

How do I know which therapist is right for me?

We encourage you to read through each of our therapist bios on the Team page to find someone whose approach aligns with your needs. Some therapists offer free consultation calls to help you determine if the fit feels right.

Are your services covered by insurance?

In many cases, yes. Coverage varies by provider. Our team includes Registered Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists, and Clinical Social Workers. We recommend confirming whether your provider covers these designations, and if a supervised practice model is eligible.

What happens during the first session?

Your first session will focus on getting to know you and your story. We’ll identify goals, build a therapeutic foundation, and ensure you feel comfortable with the direction. Some of our therapists offer initial consultations to guide this process with low pressure.

Do you offer trauma-informed therapy?

Yes. Many of our clinicians are trained in trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, and Polyvagal Theory. We support individuals with histories of trauma—including first responders, veterans, and survivors of abuse—with care and sensitivity.

Can I switch therapists if I need to?

Absolutely. Finding the right fit is essential to the therapeutic process. If you feel another therapist on our team might be a better match, we’re happy to support a respectful, easy transition.

Do you offer WSIB support?

Yes. Kathryn Greenaway and several team members are experienced in WSIB evaluations. We provide ethical, thoughtful assessments and guidance in situations where safety and legal considerations may apply.

How much does therapy cost?

Rates vary depending on the therapist and the service provided. Fees and availability can be discussed directly with your chosen clinician. Many offer brief consultations to explore this before committing to ongoing sessions.

How do I book a session?

You can visit our Contact Page to reach out to a therapist directly, or submit a general inquiry. We’ll respond promptly to help you take the next step.
